My daughter bought a cute pink GameBoy Advance in September for her birthday. Now she is regretting the decision and really wants a Nintendo DS instead. What should I do? Should I get her the DS for Christmas and hand the GBA down to her younger sister? Or should I just make her wait to upgrade later?
Are the games for DS that much better? Anyone care to shed some light on this for me?

Yep, the games for the DS are that much better! And the stylus is so much more suited for small kids too. We had 3 used GBAs last year, and when the DS came out, my mom bought them all DS systems and we sold the GBAs. My oldest lost hers over the summer and we made her save half the money to replace it. We bought a DS lite for her.
I have an 8 year old (almost 9), a 6 year old, a 4 year old and a baby who does not have a DS LOL. But, even the 4 year old will sit for an hour and play the DS games.
My 8 year old and 6 year old also are in love with the games. I highly suggest the nintendogs games and brain age (the 8 year old can handle it, but probably much younger will need assistance).
